About
She will make her debut at Carnegie Hall in New York as part of the Carnegie SongStudio in January 2026.
Sensitive to the links between music and poetry, Anna Giorgi perfected her skills at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in vocal accompaniment alongside Anne Le Bozec and Emmanuel Olivier, as well as in Erika Guiomar and Nathalie Dang’s singing class, adding a new dimension to her piano playing. She also enriched her training in the Lied repertoire with Charles Spencer at the MDW in Vienna, Austria.
At the same time, she received masterclass instruction from Lilya Zilberstein, Jacques Rouvier, and Jean-Marc Luisada, while honing her skills in the vocal repertoire with leading figures such as Susan Manoff, Jeff Cohen, Mathieu Pordoy, Hartmut Höll, and Markus Hadulla.
A highly regarded chamber music partner, she shares the stage and collaborates with numerous singers such as Anaïs Constans, Eléonore Gagey, Marie-Andrée Bouchard-Lesieur, Timothée Varon, and others.
Together with soprano Tamara Bounazou, she forms the duo “Moine ou Voyou” (Monk or Hooligan), echoing Poulenc’s famous criticism, and together they won First Prize at the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, as well as the ADAMI, SACEM, Fondation Bullukian, and Grandes Écoles prizes.
Anna Giorgi performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in prestigious venues such as the Toulon Opera, the Nancy Opera, the Lyon Opera, La Seine Musicale, and Salle Cortot, as well as internationally, notably at Wigmore Hall in London, in Belgium, and in Austria. She has also performed at festivals such as the XXth European Young Talents Festival, the Musée en Musique in Grenoble, the Festival de l’Epau, the Musicales d’Arradon, and the Festival des Nuits Romantiques in Aix-les-Bains.
